Nicaragua is a “country with heart.” This National Institute of Tourism slogan is a perfect way to describe an enchanting and picturesque country with welcoming and friendly people. Life here seems to flow at a more relaxed pace giving tourists and locals alike time to enjoy their surroundings, solidify friendships, and reflect on the true meaning of life.
San Juan del Sur is charming fishing village in the Southwest part of Nicaragua. The weather is almost always perfect (even when it’s raining) and the surf is almost always up, with off shore winds 11 months of the year. The dramatic cliffs that fall into the Pacific Ocean all along the coast are only interrupted by postcard beaches with white sand, playful waves, and rolling hills in the background.
This is a tropical paradise that is only now becoming discovered by tourists and investors.
