Sports Park
After raising more than US $50,000 in private donations, Comunidad Connect remodeled the basketball court in San Juan del Sur. The new Sports Park features not only basketball but also soccer and volleyball, along with hosting a range of cultural and social events.
Recycling
Along with the Mayor’s office of San Juan del Sur, Comunidad Connect has begun to address one of the most pressing concerns in Nicaragua: waste management. One of the first steps on the municipal level was a recycling program, launched in early 2007.
