Sports Park
Once Samoza’s private tennis court, the San Juan del Sur Sports Park now reigns as a venue for local, regional, and even national sporting events. Developed by Comunidad Connect to promote and manage after school activities and organized sports, the Sports Park has since become a dynamic attraction for locals and foreigners alike. International volunteers helped build the new bathrooms and scoreboard while local contractors renovated the playing surface and public seating areas. Every effort has been made to provide opportunities to children, adolescents, and adults- both male and female -- so that the entire community of San Juan del Sur benefits from the project.
