Alaniz Family Home

The Alaniz Family consists of Tingo, Marlene, their three daughters, Anglea, Francis and Gema, and four grandchildren. Since we started working at Los Robles, the Alaniz Family has been a source of unconditional support for Comunidad Connect. They helped build the health clinic, collected data, modified homes, ran pilot projects, and started our community garden project. In November 2022, Comunidad Connect donors helped 6 members of the Alaniz family convert their old kitchen into new rooms where Francis and her two children will live. After many years of 6 people sleeping together in the same cramped room, this extra space means more privacy as the kids get older, and dignity for a family that has given so much to their community.
