Adelayda is a single mother of two. Before her new home, she lived with her mother and siblings in an overcrowded house with 9 people. Hardworking and responsible, Adelayda has volunteered on other community projects for over a year. To sustain herself and her children, Adelayda has done everything from washing clothes and baking bread to selling snacks to the community. Fortunately, her mother offered her a small plot of land near the family home where she could build a future.
